Eating Heart ❤️ for Coenzyme Q10-Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a nutrient that is vital to metabolic, cardiovascular, and neural health 😲. It is vital to the mitochondria’s electron transport chain that allows the cell to turn food into usable energy 💥.-It is not a vitamin because the body can make it through the same pathway that we make cholesterol (mevalonate pathway). However, this pathway requires vitamins and minerals as the building blocks and cofactors like vitamin B2, B6, B12, folate, magnesium, and zinc 😯.-Many people may not have the building blocks to make enough CoQ10. At the same time, there are many conditions that waste CoQ10 including cardiovascular 🫀disease, fibromyalgia 😬, diabetes, hypertension, cancer ♋️, Parkinson, Alzheimer’s, male infertility, and migraines 🤕.-For this reason, it can be good to get CoQ10 in the diet or to supplement with it.
